WHAT IS COMBAT ARCHERY?
Then, two teams take to the arena for 50 minutes of gameplay with a variety of game modes - but the basic idea is to take out the other team while not getting hit yourself!

Think dodgeball, but swap out the balls for bows & foam tipped arrows!
The entire group will complete 25 minutes of training, rules and safety instructions with their host, then split into 2 teams (or more for larger groups) of up to 10 players a side.
Private Games can be booked with 10 - 20 players and the session is completely private to your group! Nobody else will join your game.
The starting rate for private games is $29 per player, with lower per-player prices with the more players booked into the game.
For groups over 20 players, we suggest contacting us to help you plan your event.

FOOD & DRINK AT PLAYBACK
Playback is our very own games bar & restaurant, located inside our facility! It's the perfect place to relax with some tasty food & drinks after your activity.
Keep the games going too! Playback has two shuffleboard courts, two bocce lanes, cornhole, beer-pong and a selection of board games to purchase and play at your table.

HOW IS YOUR FACILITY DEALING WITH THE RISKS OF COVID-19?
Despite the decreased risks of Covid-19 at this stage, all equipment is sanitized after every single use, and our helmets are only used once per day before being deep cleaned.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the facility, and masks are worn by all staff. Guests must also wear their mask at all times, including during games. If you do not have a mask, our front desk will have masks available for purchase.
Proof of vaccination is not currently required to access our facility or take part in a game.
WHAT IS COMBAT ARCHERY?
Archery Games offers combat archery which is played similar to dodgeball - but with bows and soft foam-tipped arrows. This exciting, action-packed game offers the ultimate family-friendly experience that is fun for everyone.
HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION?
Each session is 75 minutes long. This includes 25 minutes of briefing, basic archery training and practice time, and follows by 50 minutes of game play. Players will have opportunities for refreshments or washroom breaks during the halftime break.
IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
For Open Games, players must be aged 10 and up to join a game.
For Private Games, you can book games for ages 8+.
I DON’T HAVE ANY ARCHERY EXPERIENCE. CAN I STILL PLAY?
No archery experience is required to play. Prior to the actual game play, all players will be provided basic training and sufficient time to practice shooting. A dedicated staff member will help train all players to become champions on the playing field!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
A pair of clean athletic indoor shoes is required to enter the arena. We suggest wearing athletic clothing such as t-shirt and shorts. We also recommend removing all jewelry prior to game play. For players who wear glasses, we have specially-cut masks for you, but we recommend wearing contacts if you can.
DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD & DRINKS? CAN I BRING MY OWN?
Located in the same facility as us is Playback, our indoor games bar & restaurant. Here you can order food & drink from their menu, and if you contact them ahead of time, they can even have your food ready for you right after your game or event.
We suggest checking Playback's opening hours before planning to eat after your game.
You may bring in your own birthday cake, and we can provide you with plates & napkins. Other items are not permitted, but Playback can provide you with lots of sides, drinks and snacks to go with your cake.
WHAT IF I AM LATE FOR MY SESSION?
All players should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their reserved game time. In the instance where safety training is missed, we may decide at our discretion whether any late arrivals may participate in game play. Please contact us and let us know if you or your group will be late and we will do our best to accommodate. However, arriving late will likely result in less game play time and a limited experience.
CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE SESSION FOR MY GROUP ONLY?
Yes! Private bookings are available to book online with as few as 10 players, to a maximum of 20. With this, your group will get the entire arena to yourselves! Only guests that you book with will be able to join your game.
Private booking prices start at $29+HST per person for groups of 10 - 12 players. This drops to $27.00+HST per person when you book for 13 - 16 players and only $25.00+HST per person with groups of 17 - 20 players.
Booking for more than 20 players? No problem! Please contact us and we'll help you arrange your larger event.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE PRIVATE EVENTS?
For any special or private event, our 8,000 square foot facility will be happy to accommodate. Please contact us to find out more about our corporate packages and private event pricing. We are happy to host for birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, fundraisers, corporate events, team building or any occasion.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you have to cancel or are unable to make your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We do not require payment at the time of booking but appreciate being informed of cancellations so we can open up the time slot to other players. Payment is optional at time of online booking or can be paid upon arrival at Archery Games.

Yes we do! Gift certificates are available for purchase online or at the facility.

Yes, Room Escape Ottawa is located in the same building! They have 5 immersive, multi-room escape games, which can be booked for $29+HST per player when you book with a group of 2-4 players, or $27+HST with 5-8 players.
